Your tasks

As an industrial mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our production systems such as automatic punching presses, welding and assembly systems and premises. Throughout your apprenticeship at HISTEEL you will learn how to identify, analyse and correct faults and malfunctions in our systems. If parts are defective or adjustments are necessary, you will be responsible for the repair and conversion, restart the system and carry out a functional check.

You will get to know all the techniques of metalworking such as grinding, milling or filing and you will be the all-rounder in the maintenance of our production facilities.

Your perspectives

To ensure trouble-free production and optimum machine availability, highly qualified mechatronics engineers are essential. Therefore, we also invest extensively in the further training of our maintenance team after the apprenticeship.

During your apprenticeship you can already obtain a forklift, crane and working platform drivers licence. After your apprenticeship, we also offer training courses that go beyond the company-specific skills of an industrial mechanic. A promotion to a managerial position is possible if there is a need and if you have several years of experience and suitability.
